Format a SATA hard disck
Go to this computer, manage and then slect drive manager, from there right
click on your drive and select format. It may not be the HD you started from that cannot be formatted this way, if you want to format the bootdisk you have to start from the Windows CD (or DVD) and select format the drive from there. (advanced options). Ko "Andrea" schreef in bericht ... Assuming you don't need to install special drivers for your SATA controller which might be what you were referring to as a special procedure with XP, you should be able to format the boot drive from Vista DVD; run setup and format during setup. If you need to install special drivers, there is a prompt during setup that allows you to do so. -- Michael Solomon Backup is a PC user's best friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ |
