I downloaded the upgrade advisor for Vista and it tells me that the Ultimate
version is the way to go. It tells me that the only upgrade I need is a better graphics cards. I have 64 mg card and it tells me that I need 128 mg. How expensive is the graphics card suggested? How does this version (Ultimate) rank in the 5 different versions available? Many thanks, jack |

You don't need a 128mb card. 64mb is the minimum. Why do they tell you to get
a 128mb card? Probably because 128mb is recommended. My ATI Radeon Mobility x300 w/ 64mb runs Aero glass fine. -- Robert Firth http://www.winvistainfo.org "Joe" wrote: you can pick up a 128 mb g card for under 60 bucks. And I shall answer the second question.
![]() Ultimate is the "best" version of Windows Vista. That is, it includes everything, the works. To help fight piracy though there will not be a VLK edition. -- Take Care, Will "Jack Barrett" wrote in message ... They probably tell you to get a 128M card because MS will not support Aero on
a 64M card..sure it might work, but if it doesn't..well tough luck I guess. 128M is the minimum for the Aero interface. "firth" wrote: You don't need a 128mb card. 64mb is the minimum.
