Windows Vista RC1, german, 32bit, Build 5600
I use very often the parameter /root This is my favorite link: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, /root,"%UserProfile%\My Documents" Using Windows XP I press [F5] to refresh the tree view. Vista cannot show the new name of the folder! For example - New Icon (link): %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, /root, "C:\Temp" - Start this Icon - left side with right mouse button (Temp) - New - Folder - "folder-left1" [Enter] The display doesn't actulize!! example 2: Please try to rename "folder-left1" to "folder-left2" at the left side (tree view). ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
