Creative X-FI Driver issues on Vista ?
Help me out guys - I fired up my brand-new gaming box running Vista
home Premium and alas, no sound... The device manager says the sound card is working properly, but when I attempt to update the driver to the latets version, I get an error that reads, "You have previously updated the driver without rebooting. Reboot your system now." I have rebooted many times without avail. I have also tried uninstalling the existing driver but still get the same message. Any help on this ? Thanks, Ch33zst34k |

Creative X-FI Driver issues on Vista ?
Unfortunately I dont think there's any way you can make creative's drivers work with an SB X-Fi card if you have Vista 64 and 4Gb or more memory. Drop creative and go with onboard sound or Asus... -- kostrom kostrom - Knut Ostrom - Oslo, Norway DELL XPS 630i w/Vista Ultimate 64 - CPU Q6850 @ 3.00 GHz - 8 Gb RAM - Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTt x2 SLI Enabled -Asus Xonar D2X/XDT |
