Pretty basic, I have an FTP site that I'd like to upload files to. I've
never had to do this before and going through the Windows help sections have done nothing for me. Can anybody please tell me how to set up to conduct FTP on Vista HP edition, if possible??? I'm not too computer savvy, so I would really appreciate step-by-step instructions. Thank you for your time! |

Open "Computer"
right-click on a blank area select "Add a Network Location" and use the wizard to create a ftp connection. After you log on to this connection, drag your files to it. I use CuteFTP 8.0, myself. Dave, I cannot believe it was that easy. I wonder why in all my searching on
MS Help and on my home computer's help/support files, not one place mentioned this simple procedure! Thanks so much for your prompt response, it was a cinch to set up. I am grateful to you. Have a fun and happy 4th of July! "Dave" wrote: Open "Computer" right-click on a blank area select "Add a Network Location" and use the wizard to create a ftp connection.
