please try using alternative DNS servers and enter tham in the
properties dialog as static DNS servers on your computer. try 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2. flush DNS again. does this change things? start ncpa.cpl [enter] right click the connection (ack the UAC prompt) and select properties tcp/ip v4 properties button click check use the following DNS servers and enter the IPs above apply/ok flushdns again and see if things change (reboot to be sure) post results here please. if this cures things, I need the IP addys of the Comcast DNS servers you were getting via DHCP and I will get someone to look at the issue.
