got a new PC (Vista Premium) and when it installs the updates about 15 of
them one of them causes it to not connect to the internet anymore...short of restoring the system any way to fix it |

Remove the updates and install them a few at a time to narrow down the one
that's causing the problem. FWIW, I updated my Realtec NIC drivers from Windows update, which I know is a mistake, and that's what happened to me.
