Why doesn't it work in 64-bit Vista with Microsoft's own drivers?

I don't see the version and most of the other information that I can see
with the 32-bit Vista and earlier versions of the OS. I do see the info
when using Total Commander even on 64-bit Vista because TC is a 32-bit
program and must be invoking the 32-bit version of the dialog program.
