Anyone else having problems with the indexing options. I am unable to change
indexing options. All buttons on the indexing options window are disabled and it says the index is turned off. |

Mine seems to be working ok. What build are you using? What permissions
level is the account at? is UAC still enabled? -- Josh http://windowsconnected.com "Danny" wrote in message news ![]() Anyone else having problems with the indexing options. I am using build 5600 (RC1) with an administrator account. Every time I
search within windows explorer it tells me that search may be slow because the index is turned off and every time it comes up I click the notice and click turn on index but then when I go to indexing options it still tells me it is turned off and no buttons are active. |

Same problem here, same build and everything. Was working great and now
indexing is off. "Danny" wrote: Anyone else having problems with the indexing options. I am unable to change indexing options. All buttons on the indexing options window are disabled and it says the index is turned off. |
