Anyone else having problems with the indexing options. I am unable to change
indexing options. All buttons on the indexing options window are disabled
and it says the index is turned off.

Mine seems to be working ok. What build are you using? What permissions
level is the account at? is UAC still enabled?

I am using build 5600 (RC1) with an administrator account. Every time I
search within windows explorer it tells me that search may be slow because
the index is turned off and every time it comes up I click the notice and
click turn on index but then when I go to indexing options it still tells me
it is turned off and no buttons are active.

Same problem here, same build and everything. Was working great and now
indexing is off.
