Umax Astra 6700 Driver for Windows Vista
I just upgrade from XP to Vista. But, the scanner cannot scan perfectly.
Anyone can help me where to find the vista driver, since the umax official website has not the driver ? TIA. Sutisna

Umax Astra 6700 Driver for Windows Vista

If the manufacturer of the Umax Astra 6700 has has no Vista driver you can use VueScan from: http://www.hamrick.com/vsm.html At the website, confirm that your scanner is supported, and it likely is. If the manufacturer doesn't supply one, then there is little you can do besides lobbying them to do so. Many will not, preferring that you purchase a newer unit that is compatible. Umax Astra 6700 Driver for Windows Vista
VueScan does not support the Umax Astra 6700. Umax appear to have no Vista
drivers at all. SilverFast supports the Umax Astra 6700 but is not free. http://www.silverfast.com/product/Umax/325/en.html I assume you have tried the Umax XP driver if you are using 32-bit Vista.
