I had the same issue after installing Windows Vista RC1. Based on posts in
some of the other threads here I decided to try unplugging my USB wireless mouse. Gosh, the screensaver kicked in. Who'd a thunk it. Anyway, I'm guessing you have a wireless mouse? Unplug it. -- Imagine what we could be... if we could just imagine. i've had previous issues with wireless and usb ms mice before but am using a

I'm running ATI on the laptop. If it was the actual graphics (in my case)
then removing the mouse should have made no difference. There are certainly a lot of posts with this issue however. Best of luck. -- Imagine what we could be... if we could just imagine.
