I ran into an issue today whereby it appears that upon resuming my Vista Home
Premium machine from Sleep mode, that my workgroup setting had been reset back to the default value of 'WORKGROUP'. As a result, I was unable to access resources on my network that I was able to reach perfectly fine last night prior to putting my machine to sleep. Re-entering my workgroup name and rebooting fixed the problem. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have recommendations as to the easiest way to bring this to the attention of Microsoft engineers? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
