hello,
My media sharing functionality withing WMP has recently stopped functioning. I've all over the net looking for answers but can't find any. Basically when I click on media sharing from within media player i get an error telling me to check my network settings. The network is set to private and I still get the same error. I found out on zachd.com/pss/pss.html that i need to have UPnP Device Host, HTTP SSL, and SSDP Discovery services running so that network sharing services will work. I have them all working fine except for HTTP SSL which is not on the list. If anybody knows how to install this service that would be great. any help is really appreciated, thanks |

I am having the same issue. My xbox360 just *stopped* seeing my PC. The PC can see the 360 and I have all the sharing turned on, etc. It was working fine yesterday and now not at all. NOTHING has changed physically and no new software has been installed on my system (Vista Home Premium). Thanks for any help, this is VERY frustrating. -- Icarus Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
