Hello J.Leander,
If you are talking about the network icon in the notification area near the clock, you can easily change its behavior by performing the following steps. 1. Right-click the taskbar and choosing Properties. 2. Click the "Notification Area" tab. 3. Under the System icons section, click to check/uncheck "Network." 4. Click the Apply button and Ok. -- Eric Cross Microsoft MVP (Windows Networking) http://mvp.support.microsoft.com "J.Leander" wrote in message ... Hello Eric
I'm trying to do the opposite - I need the network icon to apper in my notification area. I followed the steps you told J. Leander to do, but the button check for Network, Energy and Volume are disabled and I cannot check or uncheck them. Do you know what's happening?
