I have two printers running via a DLink print server.
1. I changed the firewall settings. I'm using MS One Care so I turned on printer/file sharing. It said it was password protected but a password never came up when I tried to print? Is something not turned off/on correctly? 2. I confirmed the machines are in the same workgroup. 3. turned on print sharing - password protected. 4. added the printers as tcp/ip port entries 5. both said they added successfully 6. both begin to print but then I get an error message. 7. Right now, I'm thinking let's reformat to XP and dump vista. This is taking way too much time. Thanks, |
