Hello,
In Windows Vista, even though you are running as an administrator account, programs are locked down as a "standard" user unless you explicitly unlock them. Some programs will ask for you permission to "unlock" them and give them full access to your computer ("Windows needs your permission to continue"), other (usually old) programs you will need to unlock manually by right-clicking them and clicking "Run As Administrator". If you could be more specific as to your problems, as in what EXACTLY you are doing when you hit an error and what error messages you receive, we may be able to help you. -- - JB Windows Vista Support Faq http://www.jimmah.com/vista/ |
