Dear Friends, not sure if a solution is already posted on this issue.
I have a network with windows xp and windows 2000 desktop machines. I recently bought a Windows Visa Business edition laptop. My problem is, I am able to PING from the Vista machine to all other machines on the network. But none of the machines on the network are able to PING the VISTA machine. I have tried the following without luck. 1) created icmp rules for inbound , in the firewall 2) Stopped firewall 3) stopped antivirus program is there anything that i am missing? regards Sunil |
