Default External DVD Burner w/Lightscribe

I am looking to purchase an external DVD burner w/lightscribe technology.
Tried searching the web to find one compatible with Windows Vista. Can
someone recommend where or how do I find compatible burners? TIA.

Ernie,

Since you're looking for an external drive, it's therefore likely to have
either a USB or Firewire interface. Vista supports both standards, so long
as you have either of those ports on your system. If not, you can always add
those ports.

After that standard is met, you only need to be concerned whether the burner
software that comes bundled with the burner is Vista compatible. If it
isn't, you then can either update it to a compatible version, or purchase a
new Vista compatible version. Here is a site that has some external DVD
Lightscribe burners:

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for the info. Most external dvds that I've seen are usually USB, so I
guess like you say, as long as the software is compatible there should be no
problem.
