When I get done with the file sharing setup screens on Vista and click on the
shared folder I can't even access it from the host computer!!!! (Unless I manually browse through the C:\ drive.) Let me simplify if I type //IBMUSER-PC/sharename I can't get to it. Only by typing c:\Sharedname can I get to the folder from the host computer. THIS WAS WORKING just a few days ago so something switched b/c my old shortcut no longer works. Oh, how I regret the day I agreed to try Vista. Never again, MS. Never again. |
