Hi, I've got the following problem with my new hardware & Vista Home Premium
(64) that's driving me nuts. I've got a Gigabyte GA-P965-DS3 , with a marvell gigabyte chipset on it. I get disconnected frequently, I attempt to repair the connection , and the vista just resets the on board adapter. (that works at times) . I've looked at the activity log, and notice that the nic gives me lots of "internal driver errors" (~200 / 24 hr period). I've updated my mother board firmware, and installed the latest drivers for the marvell chipset (not sure if they're vista certified?). I was thinking of disabling the onboard nic and installing a pci nic. This configuration is driving me nuts with blue screens of death & loosing connectivity (having to reset the adapter). Any suggestions? Thanks, JG |
