I tried your suggestion of new video card and game still doesn't work, i
tried game on friends pc and it worked fine, are video cards are intel, mine is 82810E, friends 82845G, so i was going to download the 82845G video card but theres a warning saying this card is only compatable with a certain chip set, plus other games of mine are sometimes running slow and stalling, which also doesn't happen on friends. i wouldn't mind, but she paid a lot less for her pc. can i change to this video card? her pc has more memory, is this what is causing mine to stall? can i increase my memory? Maria Short answer NO. Get a decent video card to replace the low-end crap on the motherboard should solve your problems. BTW - cost of purchase is not the criteria for evaluating a pc's performance. There's low priced top-notch sellers and high-priced crap sellers, e.g. selling small form factor cases with mb's that have little expansion capabilities yet greater cost because it "doesn't use so much desk space" is one example. |

Maria Hello, try posting your question to the Windows 2000 or Windows XP game groups you're more likely to get a better response there. This group is for discussing of games on the as of yet unreleased Windows Vista. -- Paul Smith, Yeovil, UK. Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User. http://www.dasmirnov.net/ |
