Default Firewall seems to prevent access to sharepoints and other intranet

Hi, folks, has anyone encountered any firewall issues specific with IE 7.0
and Vista? I have a user that is unable to access any sharepoints and I've
checked these and they are all running:

Security Accounts Manager
Security Centre
Server

these are running, but still not able to access the sharepoints.

thanks

Details about "prevent access to sharepoints and other intranet" would be
useful.

Firewalls will block name resolution, resource access, and resource enumeration.
The NetBT setting is also a possible problem.

You could look at logs from "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from each
computer, and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and
follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
