Ok... what another bug?? I was typing that and it went away the first time
and sent just the subject with no message. Then I sent a longer post and it said "an error occured and your post was not sent". Bah... now I type it all over. Has anyone managed to get Red Alert 2 to run in the Vista Beta? I even bought the "Decade" version to try that and still no joy. The "Generals" and "Zero Hour" will run but none of the others. I get an error that says "***FATAL***string manager failed to initalize properly" when I force it to run even after setting Windows XP SP2 in compatability mode. There is still a lot of support for RA2 evidenced by the recent "Decade" release by Westwood. I sure hope Microsoft fixes this issue. Has anyone manager to make it run? If so, how?
