I've got a peer to peer network with 2 Vista Laptops, 1 XP Laptop & 2 XP
PC's. The 3 Laptops connect via Wireless. All PC's can view each others docs but the Vista PC's can not edit or change any docs on the Vista PC which acts as a server. The Vista PC's can open the docs but can not edit and save. i get a access denied message. As far as i know all permissions on the XP PC are set correctly. |

Your problem report reads like a logic puzzle. Have you set permissions on the Vista PCs at all? Are you using AFS / PPS On, or SFS / PPS Off? Please be consistent, on all computers. Know what editions of Windows XP and Vista are present is also useful. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/12/windows-xp-and-vista-on-lan-together.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/1...-together.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
