Default Interfering once opening a game

I keep getting "some visual item cant be shown or displayed" Items like that
when I am all ready in the game like Call of Duty , the first one. Windows
should stop doing things like checking for errors and displaying them until I
shut off the game not flicker through the screen during the game. Cant seem
to shut it off

This is a problem with the Quake 3 engine itself. A work around would be
using compatibility mode to disable glass when the application is run.
