1394 device not recognized
My Panasonic DV2500 tape deck is not recognized using Vista. It was fine with
XP. Other 1394 devices are fine. Tried kb 927827, but made no difference. |

1394 device not recognized
sbower,
One approach to determine compatibility is to check whether the DV2500 in on the Vista compatibility list. With google you can find the Vista compatibility list quickly. Another approach is to contact Panasonic and ask about the DV2500's Vista compatibility. If it's not recognized, it's likely not compatible out of the box. However, it's also possible that Panasonic can make it compatible by supplying drivers. Who knows until you pin it down. -- freddy "sbower" wrote: My Panasonic DV2500 tape deck is not recognized using Vista. It was fine with XP. Other 1394 devices are fine.
