Default Vista Home Premium Backup Fails (error 0x8007007B)

I'm running Vista Home Premium.

I recently migrated many files from a computer using Linux.

When I attempt to create a backup using 'Backup and Restore Center', I get
the following error:

"An error occurred. The following information might help you resolve the
error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
(0x8007007B)"

I have narrowed the problem down to 'Documents' - i.e. if I deselect
'Documents' in backup settings, I can get a successful backup.

How can I identify the offending Document file? I have hundreds. Is there a
log that will show the details of the fault, including the name and location
of the file it tripped over?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently running without a complete
backup and this makes me very nervous. I'd like to avoid re-installing Ubuntu
on a second drive just to make backup images of my Vista drive.

Thank you.
