I have a PS3 and if I run Windows Media Player on my Vista Ultimate box I am
able to share the music, pictures, and videos from my PC to my PS3 just fine (got that configured, no questions there...) The issue is in order for this sharing to work I have to be logged in and running Windows Media Player which is rather annoying. Is there some way just to share the media as a windows service or something so that it runs independent of any single users instance of media player and doesn't require someone to be logged in to work? I'm sure there are 3rd party apps that do this but I'm curious if there is some capability in Vista for this that I may have overlooked. Thank you. |
