Win98 did not have USB ports. The printer was connected with a serial
(?) to parallel connector.

In the ports tab there was just one USB00 that was assigned to
printers, and that was assigned to both printers, the Panasonic and the
Epson. I clicked on all the ports on that tab, and there was only one
that I could use. That was the USB001. The USB002 did not work.
