I was trying to say that the site you referrenced was the first place I had
gone. The driver was downloaded by me immediately upon purchase when I
installed my new computer with Vist Office, and everything but the scanner
works on my all in one.

When I hit scan and select any of the options that appear in the window such
as "scan to Microsoft Word," or scan to "HP imaging gallery" my AIO clicks
and then fails to engage. It is driving me nuts.

I very much appreciate you help. At least I know I was on the right track.

I don't understand you. Did you get to the HP website I linked to? If
not it may be that my browser does not present the URL so you can just
click on it. You can paste the three lines into the address box of your
browser or you can go to the HP website and navigate to the support for
your printer by typing in Officejet 6110 in the Downoada Software box
on this page:

Then click on VISTA and use the link where it says driver.

That will take you to the document I was referring to.
