Since Vista can't connect to Mac OS X machines out of the box, I installed
SharePoints on the Mac, and was able to map drives from the Mac on the Vista machine. Everything worked great, for about three months. Then suddenly the mapped drives stopped working. I get the "Unable to connect...cannot find..." when I click on the mapped drive icons. I changed nothing on the Mac. I changed nothing in Vista (business). Perhaps some automatic update changed something in the Vista settings? Can anyone shed some light on this? It blows my mind that my XP machine continues to work without a hitch, while the new and improved Vista is currently useless for the work I'm trying to do. |
