Default Iexplore7 issue

Vista 64 clean install on a brand new Sata HD 2gb ram. E6420 cpu
Had this setup now just over a week, Was browsing the net for a short
time, closed IExplorer7 to go for supper, came back and could'nt get
Iexplorer to run. A error message box popped up saying
"the procedure entry point showcaret could not be located in the
dynamic link library user32.dll" I know the user32.dll file is there cos
I checked but the contents viewed via notepad is heiroglyphics to me.

Anyone know what this error is and can it be avoided in future. Did a
search on Google but it could'nt come up with anything. I had to restart
the computer then all was well again.
