Hello! I have the same problem with my c4100 HP printer. Is there any
way that you would be able to post or e-mail the entire directions?
These weren't quite detailed enough for my experience level. Thank you

I run VISTA now, and this is an outline of sorts, of what HP wrote:
1) Turn off the Terminate and Stay Resident programs MSCONFIG in VISTA.
2) Disable HP device discovery service.
3) Uninstall the All-In-One software.
4) Turn off firewall and antivirus.
5) Reinstall the latest software for the All-In-One.
