Default Cannot See Shares Or Print On Vista machine

This seems to be an ongoing problem from what i see on this board....LOL

I have an WinXP Pro machine. My g/f also has an XP Pro machine. They are
networked in our home. I am hardwired while she is on wireless. Monday i
bought a new machine running Vista. She Loves it(PUKE!!) Anyway, on her old
machine i had a shared mapped to a Folder on my PC so i could backup some of
her important stuff from time to time. I also had her setup to share my
Printer which is connected by USB to my pc.
Now that i have Vista i cant do SQUAT!!!.
I set her up on the same Workgroup as me. Her PC doesnt see mine at all.
I've followed the steps and whatnot from everywhere i've found but nothing
works. Now i can see her machine on my PC but i cant see the shares we setup
or her Public Folders. All of which are shared. Private Network is setup as
is file sharing. I removed the Wireless Linksys card from her old machine and
put it in the new one and had no trouble connecting to my network.

I'm going bald trying to figure this out......XP is so much easier.....LOL

Any help would be MAJORLY appreciated...

Thanks

connect to our shares or install the printer connected to my PC.
I also noticed that NOW i dont see HER PC on my machine any
longer......LOL...Just gets better and better.......LOL
