machines we are receiving The Network name cannot be found. We recently turned off WINS but I would assume 2000/XP/Vista are all just as happy without WINS. I've seen one other post about this but the fixes supplied there didn't work. any suggestions? Oh, our XP pro machines map these drives using the same scripts just fine. |

I am still searching for a solution / fix without any luck I might add... Vista Business / Server 2003 "Robert L [MVP - Networking]" wrote: I would check the DNS settings first.
