So far the driver seems to be fine but I had to adjust the paging file from
automatic to system managed to avoid some type of lag.

Not really any performance increase for me on Counter-Strike Source. 51fps
vs 104fps on XP

i found these drivers to be crap once again..

media center cant be used now, the sound stutters horribly from it. full
screen vids are useless. games cant be played, even the built in games sound
like ****.. the only good thing i can see with these drivers is games that
locked up befor now work properly.. but what good is then when the sound is
crap..

Hi Guys

Vista does have some issues with Videos. I ve been reading a lof of reviews
and the media center is still not upto the mark. More than the drivers
casuing problems its a combination of codecs media center and a few Sound
drivers that are the issue.Lets hope its fixed soon. Gold is so close now

Yuck I see what you mean about Media Center. Has nvidia ever released a
vista driver that wasn't crappy? At least I now have OpenGL support with
these drivers though.

I've been using a 6800 GT XFX and had so much trouble with Vista RC1 and
later (most of the problems reported on this thread). It finally took the
fattest dump and I replaced with 7600 BFG OC series. I have none of the
problems I had before 'cept for the 'once in a while' moments when my
screens (yes, dualview) go black (out of sync) when calculating my 'Windows
Experience' or trying to watch TV.

So far no difference from the MS included RC2 driver.
Same graphic corruption in games (HL2).

Actually worse, now if I'm playing a game and I get graphic corruption,
after I quit the game I get screen flashing in windows/desktop, until I
reboot.

RC1 worked so much better.... Seems like they took a huge step backwards.

Forceware 96.65 is working perfectly in my system (mobo Intel 945 GTP,
CoreDuo 930 3GHz, 2 GB DDR2-400, integrated Intel High Def Audio, Vista RC2
64-bit), both DirectX games (like Flight Simulator X, LoMAC, etc.) and
OpenGL (IL-2 Sturmovik, Pacific Fighters) are running like XP or even
better. UI components great, too.

Can't complain at all...
