Im having a great time experimenting windows vista, but theres some things im
not particulary crazy about! Meaning my gamming experience has crashed...when im playing ( online or in singlepayer ) all the games i install ( even older games) run slowly, or dont run at all ( for instance, one of Microsoft games "freelancer", i usually play it in multiplayer mode, and even in the lower quality defenitions, the game runs slow) i've installed all the updates, graphic adapter drivers...it still run games slow! i try that option "run as administrator", and still no change! can u give me any tips, to make my gamming experience improve? My system: - MS Windows Vista "ultimate" Build 5600 - Processor: AMD Sempron 3000+ -2GHz - Memory Ram - 1 Gb - 250 gb Sata HD - Graphic adapter Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 - Got an 8 mb speed connection |

At this point you really need some robust hardware to get decent performance
out of games. This is pre-release software and it won't be up to par with the final version. Drivers aren't the greatest either. All I can suggest for right now is to disable the Aero theme, make sure you have the latest drivers installed, and make sure you only have necessary processes running. Otherwise you're going to need a better processor or graphic card. But don't fret, I'm sure performance will get closer to XP's soon enough. |
