I have a number of games installed under Vista, and all of them play well
(with the exception of City of Heroes/Villains, but that's an ATI driver issue...) Some of them get correct download information. Neverwinter Nights, City of Villains and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War have "box cover" icons and full developer/publisher/rating info. The Sims, City of Heroes, Pariah, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Winter Assault and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Dark Crusade only have the standard XP icon and no extra info. How can I manually change/enter this info? I've looked at the Customize options but that doesn't seem to do much good. I've even looked at the hidden game info in the User folders and tried to duplicate the "updated" info for those that aren't, but again, no soap. I have found absolutely no information anywhere in Windows Help, Google-ing, etc about this admittedly minor point, but it's become one of those "this puzzle isn't gonna get the better of me" things. Any help greatly appreciated! |

How about opening the Game folder and let it sit for awhile.
I did that, and my Oblivion logo and Rainbow 6 were both updated while I watched. A couple of other games were added also. "Eldargod" wrote in message ... Thanks for the suggestion, but actually I've thought of that already and have
left Games open numerous times for hours at a time with no real result. Oddly enough, I have in fact had it have the effect on Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Dark Crusade that it even lost the original game icon and replaced it with a "blue box with pink question mark" icon. The game still plays just fine, just no game icon at all. Sigh... "Zapper" wrote: How about opening the Game folder and let it sit for awhile.
