I have tried running Horizons: Empire of Istaria under Vista. Run great under
5384, 5600, and 5728. It crashes at startup under 5744 with a fault in msvcrt.dll. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get the game running under 5744? |

Well finally got it to work. I had to rename msvcrt.dll and then copy the
same file from version 5728 and it runs like a charm. Obviously the error is in this module. "Kalex" wrote: I have tried running Horizons: Empire of Istaria under Vista. Rebooting with these files switched was a BAD IDEA. Ended up reinstalling.
