I have main PC running Windows XP (ethernet) and a laptop running Vista
(wireless). I have set up a Workgroup via a BT Home Hub and can access files between both machines. My only problem is that I don't want general access, i.e. I want to access my own user files on both PCs without other users being able to view them. I have read the Help file and the Vista web site for network sharing but think I must be missing something. As soon as I enable Password protected sharing on the laptop, I can't access anything on my PC but if I uncheck this, everyone else has access to my PC files. Any help would be much appreciated |
