I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I do not want to enable file and
printer sharing. However, somehow, in "Network and Sharing Center" file sharing is 'ON'. When i use the arrow to get to the option to turn it off, the 'OFF' option is greyed out. In my firewall (OneCare) i have checked "do not allow file sharing" and in "Folder Option-View" i have unchecked 'File and sharing Wizard". Still, when i try to delete some files i get the message that the 'file is shared with other people" and i cannot delete it. What else can i try? Thanks. -- The truth will set you free |
