Hello,
I have a Dell GX280 with a built-in Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family that supports two monitors. I recently installed Vista RC1 (5600) as a clean install and everything went fine. When the desktop comes up I see a mirrored desktop on my two Dell 1709FP LCD's. When I go into the dislay properties one of my displays is listed as greyed/not attached. If I right-click and select "attached" I can then select the "extend the desktop onto this monitor" option. When I click apply nothing happens. I have tried looking for a Vista video driver and/or Dell monitor drivers to see if that would resolve the issue. I am out of things to try. Any suggestions? -Cheers |

I would like to have my primary dispaly my Samsung SnycMaster 19" CRT with the desktop extended to the notebook lcd. However when I select this configuration it I only end up with my LCD being the primary. I have even gone as far as to try to install the old XP drivers that allowed me to do this but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
