Everytime I try to access the Internet through my wireless router, I get a
message indicating that my security key is incorrect, when in reality it is correct. I only solve this problem after attempting to connect upwards of 20 times. I have no idea what the problem is, but I did not have this issue with Windows XP. Essentially, I just keep trying to connect, over and over again, and finally it accepts my password. Anybody else have this issue? Maybe it has something to do with my protocol? I am using WPA-Personal and TKIP. |

Enable broadcast of your SSID and that should solve the issue.. -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us... Thanks I will try this, however, why would the password work sometimes, and
not other times? "Sooner Al [MVP]" wrote: "Sooner Al [MVP]" wrote in message ... "wshu11" wrote in message ...
