Hi,

I'm working on a sort of netstumbler clone for vista. It also allows
you to connect to access points. It's also a work-around for the fact
that vista won't let you connect to a specific access point, only a
complete range of access points with the same name (eg 'linksys' will
get you any of the many APs visible with that ESSID, but wont allow
you to connect to the one you want).

At any rate, please check it out and send feedback.

Thanks,

Gee thanks... I post 1 message on 1 newsgroup on all of usenet and
it's spam... I thought this would be the best place to find wireless
gurus running vista, interested in beta testing something like this.

Dan,

However wonderful and valid your product may be (and we've seen many dodgy
products advertised just as you are doing), advertising it this way isn't
effective, it blurs the distinction between spam and helping, it makes it easier
for spammers to operate, and it encourages more such posts. And it ****es off
the helpers here, the gurus that you are trying to attract. IOW, it helps
nobody, even you.

If you want to advertise your product, spend some time here, answer questions,
and mention your product in your signature. But please don't make unsolicited
advertisements here. That's what spammers do.
