I have been given a Toshiba Pocket PC e330 and I use Vista Home Premium.
With the Pocket PC in its cradle and either on or off the Sync Setup does not recognize that the device exists. The device has been able to sych with XP and using ActiveSync 3.5. Any suggestions? |

Ron,
My system looked for a new driver (found), per haps that is step1. Next step was that a active sync setting on the PDA had to be activated (start-activesync-options- turn on enable synchrnization etc.... ) It took a while (b patinet) but Sync Setup (and computer) recognized the PDA. Unfortunately however I was unable to set up a connection (was repeatedly asked connect and disconect but didn't work). Hope this helps, and if you or anyone else knows ow to setup a connection would be obliged. regards, Bas "Ron" wrote: I have been given a Toshiba Pocket PC e330 and I use Vista Home Premium. I think part of the key is "being patient!" Since I listed the orignial post
I tinkered a lot but nothing outside of the menus. Now it synchs but usually only after numerous failed connection attempts. They (PDA and computer) apparaently communicate now but I get redundant items, such as appointments, occuring frequently. This is still a far cry from being what I think was orignially intended by the designers. Any more ideas would be appreciated.
