Try installing the driver locally on the Vista box, and then connecting to
the printer remotely. Normally when using a remote printer, the printer setup will try to grab the driver from the remote box, since the remote box is running Win2k, this probably wont work well. If that doesn't work, connect the printer to the Vista box and try to print remotely from the 2k pc "Louis" wrote: Hello, I have a canon i865-printer normaly connected to my w2k file/printer server. Linking to remote printer does not work
Hello,
I think I could solve this problem if I could use the vista i865 driver, whixh is also used if I connect the i865 locally. So I have been looking for .inf files in the vista directorys, but I can not find any inf file which look likes a i865 setup file. Any one an idea?
