Default Cool & Quiet and Vista RC1 64 bit

Hello,

When running Vista my system becvomes very hot and unaccepatble noisy, due
to the fact that "Cool & Quit power" management is not working.

I surched the amd site and the net for a compatible AMD CPU driver, but
I am affraid that that very essential driver is not yet available

I hape I am wrong / some body can help.

check yoru Power settings to make sure it is not set to POWER mode.
Balanced seems to give the bets heat/performance rating.

Thanx,

But the system power mode was already ballanced. Also note that Qool & quit
is working great when using W2K on the same machine.

This feature is not in the Operating System. It is managed through AMD
Software/Drivers.

If AMD has nothing for you.. then I am afraid you will have to wait.
