Radeon Xpress 200 Blue Screen RC1
I installed Windows Vista Beta 2 when it came out, and it worked very very
well with my Radeon Xpress 200 in my Compaq computer (Aero and everything). Then, when I updated Vista to RC1, whenever I boot Vista, I get a blue screen. I then tried a clean install, and same thing happened. Before, with Beta 2, I used the Radeon Xpress 200 driver, and disabled (e.g. didn't use) my PCI card, a Radeon 9250. Now, with RC1, I CANNOT use the Xpress200, and am forced to use the 9250. That driver, however, doesn't work for Aero, and I would like to get my original driver working again. Any help on how to go about this? Currently, Vista doesn't seem to even know that I have the xpress 200 graphics. I've been using BIOS to select which card to run. And yes, I used the Xpress 200 card when I installed Vista, and everything worked well until the last boot. |
