You might want to give Free Video Converter a try. You might be able to
convert it to AVI format. You can find the program at
www.koyotesoft.com . I
have found it to be the best converter around.

I have a Sony DCR DVD108 camera. WMM does not recognize the camera. I
have
my video files saved on my computer - they are in an MPEG-2 format but the
file extension is .mpg. When I try to import the files into moviemaker, I
get an error message: "C:\Documents and Setting...\2008021318064.mpg
could
not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from".
Does anyone know what this means and how I can get around it?
Is there a way I convert my MPEG-2 files to a format that is compatible
with
Movie Maker?
Thanks for all hints, help and suggestions!
