Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Not Recognized
I installed the realtek drivers from asus.
it was a 84 meg download for all windows os's. i installed them and clicked run as administrator. when it was done the icon showed up in the tray and allowed my to get all of my speakers working. before that the speaker setup would only have sound out of the front's and the center it showed all of the speakers but no sound came out the sub or the rear speakers when tested. i'm running vista rc1 bld 5600 "ave" wrote: Vista: x64 Ultimate build 5384 Motherboard: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Vista is installed and works fairly well for a number of applications, but it does not recognize my motherboard at all. I know it has to see it at some level to have everything working, including the onboard sound and nforce4 processor, but whenever I try to do things like update the board bios or install the asus monitoring tools it lists that I have no Asus motherboard installed. There are also 'unknown devices' which I have tracked down to the game ports, but it won't let me install the drivers for them because I don't have any Asus motherboards installed. Has anyone seen this before and know how to get the system to recognize my mainboard? I can't find any Vista drivers on the Asus site. |
